Deck Building & Remodeling in Creswell, OR
Decks, pergolas, fences, additions and remodels, built by the Creswell contractor who lives and works here.
Creswell is home for William J. Duckworth Construction. Billy Duckworth runs a family-owned company out of town and brings about 40 years of building experience to every job, from a backyard deck to a full home addition.
Because we are local, a Creswell project is close to home. You talk to Billy directly, he walks the site with you, and the same small crew builds the job from the first post to the last piece of trim.

Building in Creswell
Creswell sits at the south end of the Eugene and Springfield area, right off I-5, with a mix of in-town lots and rural acreage on the edges. Out on the bigger lots, people want decks and covered patios that take in the view of the hills, and fences that keep dogs and kids where they belong.
The Willamette Valley climate shapes how we build. Long, wet winters mean wood stays damp for months, and moss and rot go after anything that cannot drain and dry. That is why we build with composite boards like Trex, redwood covers to keep the rain off, and framing details that let water run off instead of sitting on the joists.
Inside the house, Creswell homes range from older places in town to newer builds. We remodel kitchens and bathrooms in both, and build additions and ADUs when a family needs more room on the same lot. Fences and gates round it out, including repairs when winter storms knock them down.
